I always blamed myself when the friendships didn't work out. And that was hurtful and hard. But you made me realise it's okay if they don't work out. It's okay if you outgrow them. I used to play with my neighbour's kid everyday at the front of our house, cycling or running, or playing ghar-ghar. But we stopped, very abruptly and Now I realise that she was there in my life for a specific time and reason. We met when I moved to that neighborhood like 15 years ago. She randomly came to me and my brother asking if we'll play with her and her friends, and it felt good bacause I was afraid I won't make any friends here. And Now, whenever I see her, I do a quick smile and she returns it with the same enthusiasm and care.
I could relate to every single sentence. Reading this made me feel less bad for outgrowing people. Your writing is really good kriti. Looking forward to more🥰❤️
And You better get used to reading a Thank You from this particular fan of yours cuz you've waltzed in with this newsletter like the guiding light Kriti 🥺🤌🏻❤️

totally!!! 🙈
The more I read the more I relate and somehow it was so comforting to remember the people I once was close with and how much I learned from them.

This resonated with me. I've too had friends who drifted away, thinking I've changed, but perhaps it's just growth.
As you beautifully put it, this doesn't diminish the impact they've had on my life.
